Pioneer after our great win in the semifinals against CSUF, No.1 placed team in Div3, will be facing 3rd placed in the group Hollywood 2 team on Sunday the 23rd November, who won their semifinals against Corinthians convincingly.

Team,
We are planning a practice session at Smith Murphy on Saturday November 22, at 11:30AM. I would like all of you to make an effort to participate. The finals is on Sunday so this will be a great opportunity to do a little catching and batting.
I really like our efforts last Saturday although I yelled a little (Mahesh don't worry my yelling is never personal) at the end because I felt we lost focus thinking we already won the game. And Doc, even before I started yelling I know we will win the match but all I needed was the team to show some urgency. All of you are experienced enough to understand when you played at Woodley, the batting team is never out of the game.
Let me know if you guys could make practice and remember it is Smith Murphy so we need at least 8 guys. Guys even if you are not selected for the finals we need the support at practice.
Winning is a team effort.

Pioneer lost a well fought finals against Hollywood2. Final Score: Pioneer 223/9 in 38 overs, Rahul 75.
Hollywood2 - 224/5 in 38.3 overs.
Myself[Mahesh] dropped a sitter when Hollywood2 required 45balls 63 something and that would have put Pioneer on the momentum to add more pressure on Hollywood2. But full credit to Hollywood2 for showing a professional approach to chase down Pioneer total with full determination to achieve success.
